Episode 125 – David Gwinn

Many people believe that it’s easy to write a movie or TV show. I mean all you need is one great idea, right?  It is not as easy as you may think, as my guest on this edition of The PVDcast can attest to. David Gwinn sits down with me to discuss the process of writing for television and movies. David is the co-writer and a producer of the film, Dark Iris. He is also the man behind Ghost Entertainment, a local production company. David and I talk about the keys to being a successful writer and what pitfalls to avoid. Be aware that in our discussion, David and I may spoil Godzilla (2014) and Training Day, for anyone that hasn’t seen them. (But seriously, why haven’t you seen Training Day?)

Episode 124 – Video Central

Episode 123.5 – Travel Woes

On this edition of the PVDcast, I talk about my trip to Washington D.C. to visit my pal. I do briefly discuss the good times had in the nation’s capital, but I focus primarily on my travels using a particular airline. My experience flying back to Columbus was awful and I vent on how this major airline treated me. Needless to say, they didn’t treat me well! We chat about the challenges of making an independent film from raising money to distribution and everything in between. Rebekah also discusses her career in modeling, her reasons for getting into acting and life in Alaska! It’s a very insightful edition, you will not want to miss!

Episode 121 – DJ Joey Blayze & Ringside Rand Part 1

On this episode of the PVDcast, I’m joined by two old friends that go way back to my early years in professional wrestling. These two men, along with myself, were instrumental in creating the Capital City Wrestling Hotline back in the day.  DJ Joey Blayze and Ringside Rand join me to talk all about pro wrestling. We chat about the recent WWE pay-per-view event, Extreme Rules, as well as some current storylines on WWE RAW and on WWE Smackdown Live! This will be the first half of a two-part episode featuring these guys, with the second half being posted in few weeks.

Episode 118 – Dom Riggio (Mess Bucket Comics)

On this episode of the PVDcast, I sit down with Dom Riggio, the man behind Mess Bucket Comics. Dom & I talk about Mess Bucket’s big graphic novel trilogy, The Arcane: Awakening. Dom describes this graphic novel as “the X-Men meets the Da Vinci Code.” We also talk about Mess Bucket’s newest project, a hockey-themed graphic novel called Donny Brook. We wrap up the episode by talking a little hockey & Dom shares a truly amazing story of how “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair endorsed The Arcane: Awakening! This episode is truly Woooooooo worthy!
