Episode 222 – Podcast Pair Up 3

This episode of The PVDcast is a unique one, as it features my appearance on another podcast. A few weeks ago, I was a guest on the 3 Geeks Podcast. The topic of discussion was The Best of 2019 and we all shared our opinions on said topic. Find out what movies, TV shows, comic books and video games made the illustrious list. Episode 221 – Dan Dougherty

On this episode of The PVDcast, I am joined by comic creator, Dan Dougherty. We chat about his many projects, including his award-winning, autobiographical comic, Beardo Comics. Dan shares the origin story of how he helped to create one of the more unusual comics out there, Floppy Cop. Additionally, we also talk about Touching Evil, a tale about a woman with the power to kill with just one touch. We wrap up the conversation with a quick overview of Dan’s new music album, Bad Ideas, and find out what Dan thinks is the best advice he can give any artist.

Episode 220 – Frank James Bailey 3

On this episode of The PVDcast, I am joined by Frank James Bailey, creator of Tercona. Originally, Frank produced the tales of his superhero, Tercona, in an illustrated novel format. More recently, he has created an official Tercona comic book series. We talk about the current issue (#1), the status of issue #2 and Frank’s first foray into Kickstarter for issue #3. We also chat about the original three volumes of the illustrated novels and his inspirations for creating Tercona. Episode 219 – Royal Rumble Review 2020

This past weekend witnessed two WWE superstars punching their ticket to Wrestlemania by winning big at the Royal Rumble. On this episode, I am once again joined by the Pro Wrestling Pundits, Ringside Rand and DJ Joey Blayze. We breakdown each of the matches, discuss future storylines and chat about the predictions we made to see who had them right and who had them wrong. We even recap the WWE Worlds Collide event that happened the night before the Rumble. The episode wraps up with a quick overview of some of the happenings on Monday night’s edition of RAW. Episode 218 – Royal Rumble Preview 2020

Each January, the WWE presents the most unique of all its pay-per-view events, the Royal Rumble. This historic event is discussed on this episode of The PVDcast. I am joined by the Pro Wrestling Pundits, Ringside Rand and DJ Joey Blayze, to give our thoughts, opinions, predictions and insights into the show that kicks off Wrestlemania season. We also chat about the Worlds Collide card, which is happening this Saturday and we wrap up this edition by naming who we would put on our Canadian version of Wrestling’s Mt. Rushmore. Episode 217 – Paul Markoff IX

With a new year, many people take the time to reflect on the past. This episode of The PVDcast will be quite reflective as I am joined by film critic, Paul Markoff (www.filmboundpod.com), to review the films that came out over the past six months. We discuss what films we liked and which films we wished never saw the light of day. We also run down the films that we are excited to see in the first half of 2020. Episode 216 – Matt Frey

Statistics say that 1 in 5 Americans suffer from a mental illness. Anxiety and depression are considered to be the most common mental illness. My guest on PVDcast 216 is Matt Frey, the man who created the book, What I Learned About Depression and Anxiety. Matt shares his personal story of his own battles with depression and anxiety and how that led him to create a book to help others in the same situation. We also chat about his graphic novel, Black Heart, the creation of Spaz-tastic Studios, some of his past endeavors and some of his upcoming projects.  This is one insightful episode that you do not want to miss.

Episode 215 – Kelci D. Crawford

It’s the first episode of The PVDcast for 2020! On this episode, I am joined by comics creator, Kelci D. Crawford. Based in southeastern Ohio, Kelci has created a large catalog of fantastic comics, such as Charlie and Clow, Johnson & Sir, The Legend of Jamie Roberts and many more. Kelci is also the editor of Indie Comics Hub and has dabbled in podcasting. Additionally, Kelci is also willing to give back and help creators by offering a bevy of services, such as proofreading, website design and more to them. This episode of The PVDcast marks a huge milestone. This podcast has been in existence for seven years. On this episode, I answer questions from listeners about my podcasting career and The PVDcast.
