Episode 204 – Remake Revolution 8

This episode of The PVDcast is a bit of a blast from the past. In July, I traveled to Pittsburgh to attend the Wizard World comic convention. While there, I participated in another episode of Mike McGTV’s YouTube show, Remake Revolution. This is a competition where two teams try to remake a sub-par movie based on several criteria. Paired up with an audience member, Max from the 3 Geeks Podcast and I do battle, trying to create the best remake of the 1995 film, Mortal Kombat. This weekend marks the return of the annual spectacle that is Summerslam! On this episode of The PVDcast, I am joined by my pro wrestling pundits, DJ Joey Blayze and Ringside Rand, to discuss the huge WWE pay-per-view event. We chat about the build-up to the show and give our opinions and predictions on what we think might happen this Sunday. We even analyze Saturday’s NXT: Takeover event and talk about the benefits of a rotating roster in pro wrestling. It’s an episode that hits harder than an Ox Baker heart punch!

It’s the 200th episode of The PVDcast! On this extended version of this beloved podcast, I am joined by two guests. First is Russ Streiner, Johnny from the film, Night of the Living Dead. Russ discusses his role in the aforementioned film and his other projects, including how he is currently helping new filmmakers. Additionally, I am also joined by film critic, Paul Markoff. On this episode of The PVDcast, I am joined by Colin Devonshire, the creator of the graphic novel, By the Time I Get to Dallas. This post-apocalyptic tale focuses on one man’s mysterious journey to get to Dallas, Texas from Boston, Massachusetts. Colin and I discuss the inspiration for the story, the writing process, his talented creative team and how his background as an emergency room doctor plays into the plot. We also chat about Colin’s other endeavor, The Trinity Project, which is a webcomic that is a precursor to By the Time I Get to Dallas. The PVDcast Presents: Behind the Puck Episode Zero

This episode of The PVDcast is a truly special one. It is the inaugural episode of Behind the Puck, a collaboration with Eleven One Productions and the film, The Third Period.
