Episode 388 – Anthony D. Stokes

There’s an old saying that “free hands are the devil’s playthings”. My guest on PVDcast #388 is not idle but one of the busiest guests that has appeared in quite some time! Episode 385 – Mike Delss 2

Many people are called “a jack of all trades” to describe their ability to do lots of things well. On this episode of The PVDcast, I’m joined by Mike Delss, a man who exemplifies that statement. Mike is one of the hosts of The Dirty Ugly Wrestling podcast. He is also a referee, ring announcer and wrestling personality in the Maryland independent wrestling scene. We talk about both of those endeavors, Mike’s acting in musical theater, his wrestling fandom, and a smorgasbord of other topics too.

Episode 384 – Thom Zahler

This episode of The PVDcast focuses on the theme of relationships. My guest for episode #384 is Thom Zahler. He is a comic book creator from Cleveland that has quite a few tales that revolve around this theme. Thom has created the rom-com comic, Love & Capes, a story about a superhero and his bookstore employee girlfriend; Long Distance, a comic dealing with how two characters have a long-distance relationship; Cupid’s Arrows, a unique twist on the mythology of Cupid and many more! Thom also shares details about working on IDW properties, such as My Little Pony and Time and Vine. Speaking of relationships, find out what NFL legend is related to Thom’s family!

Many comic creators strive to have a large catalog of comics to present to the public. My guest on PVDcast #383 certainly mirrors that sentiment. Mario Candelaria is my guest, and we chat about his many independently produced comics he has made in recent times. Hear about Fog Line, Mario’s unique tale that focuses on podcasting and murder. Amber produced a comic book called, The Winchester Nabu Detective Agency. This family friendly detective story chronicles the adventures of Amber’s two cats, Oliver and Gus.
