This past weekend saw the WWE present a historic two-night SummerSlam event. On PVDcast #489, DJ Joey Blayze (one-half of The Pro Wrestling Pundits) joins me to analyze this event. Health is the one thing that you should not take for granted. On this episode of The PVDcast, I am joined by Steven Christian. He is a medical student and creator of Cütie Catcherz, an immersive program designed to make learning about your health an educational and entertaining experience. Steven explains all the features of this project, which includes a 60-page graphic novel, interactive activities, an AR helmet and more. We even chat about his current Kickstarter to help fund the project (see below). You will also hear about Steven’s experiences playing division one college football.

Episode 486 – A Soldier’s Descent (Carissa Pierson)
Many veterans of the United States military suffer from PTSD. On this episode of The PVDcast, filmmaker Carissa Pierson joins me to talk about her new film, A Soldier’s Descent. On the surface, this film appears to be a typical horror flick. But there is a subtle discussion about PTSD to go along with all of the scares. Carissa and I, not only discuss this aspect of the project, but cover the status of the project, assembling Carissa’s cast and crew and even the funding of the movie (see Indie Go-Go link below).
