Episode 155 – Remake Revolution 6

Movies are one of my passions. This episode of The PVDcast features a re-airing of my appearance on Mike McGTV’s YouTube show, Remake Revolution. The premise of the show is to make a pitch to revamp an epically bad film. On this episode, we were tasked with remaking Howard the Duck. Brian Lau, from Staunch Ambition, was my partner and we competed against Jason and Max from the 3 Geeks Podcast. Who won this rowdy, raucous and rambunctious remake rumble? Tune in to find out!

Episode 153 – “The Stretcher” James Avery

Pro wrestling is a rough and tumble business where learning the ropes (literally and figuratively) is essential. On this episode of The PVDcast, I sit down with wrestler and trainer, “The Stretcher” James Avery. James has spent many years wrestling throughout the Midwest and is now training wrestlers through his school, the Ohio Pro Wrestling Academy.  We discuss James’ career in pro wrestling, as well as his transition into training aspiring wrestlers. The episode caps off with a round of Tag, Feud or Job™ featuring some of the most notorious stretchers in the history of wrestling!

Episode 149 – Stephanie Phillips

On this episode of The PVDcast, two of my favorite passions are merged together – hockey and comics! I am joined by Stephanie Phillips, the creator of Kicking Ice. This graphic novel tells the tale of two young girls, who have a love for hockey. But, their love of the game is challenged by those who think that girls shouldn’t share the same ice as boys. Stephanie shares why she created this graphic novel, her background in hockey, her fandom for the Tampa Bay Lightning and a few other topics. Don’t get sent to the penalty box, because you didn’t check out this inspiring tale of creativity on episode #149!

Episode 148 – Most Overrated Wrestler #OfAllTime

Our history is full of great debates, such as the historical debate between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas. Well, debating will be in full effect on this episode of The PVDcast!
